We are seeking a Part Time Retail Betting Assistant for our branch in Claremorris, Co. Mayo to assist the Manager in the efficient running of the shop, whilst maintaining excellent levels of customer service. This position will involve evening and weekend work.
MAIN DUTIES
* Provide excellent customer service
* To be aware of the importance of cash handling and balancing procedures
* Responsible for the shops presentation by keeping the shop safe, tidy and to increase the comfort for our customers
ESSENTIAL COMPENTENCIES & EXPERIENCE
* Good PC skills
* Excellent team player
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills required
* Must have at least 1years cash handling and customer service experience
* Knowledge of sports and/or betting is desirable
* Must be 18yrs or over
* Must be fully proficient in written & spoken English

IT qualification

• Microsoft Exchange Messaging.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Troubleshooting and problem resolution in a networking/windows environment.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.
• Understanding of Raid levels, benefits, configurations.
• Experience of PBX, ISDN, VOIP and TDM technologies.
• Strong working knowledge of PC hardware, software and peripherals.
• Sound understanding of networks and their infrastructure.
• Some Knowledge of UNIX/Linux.
• Knowledge of MS SQL server, MySQL systems advantageous.
• NT backups or similar.
• Familiarity with Dell desktop/laptops/servers and printers.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work around issues and be creative as regards problem solving.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
