Role: Senior Risk Analyst
The NTMA seeks to recruit a senior risk analyst, ideally a quants person with an appropriate Masters degree and at least 2 years experience in complex valuations and econometric modelling, to work with a small, focussed team on the following areas of debt management and asset management:
* Valuation of complex/illiquid products;
* Performance measurement and attribution;
* Risk monitoring and analysis – Value at Risk, Cost at Risk;
* Economic analysis;
* Financial/economic modelling and forecasting;
* Scenario/stress testing;
* Quantitative analysis;
* Data/statistical processing;
* Ad hoc analytical/research support to the Risk Unit, other NTMA business units and external agencies.
Analyst required to have:
* Experience in valuing complex and/or illiquid products and an understanding of accounting implications;
* Experience in measuring and managing counterparty credit risk;
* A good honours postgraduate degree in the areas of Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Treasury or Business;
* At least two year’s relevant experience in the financial services industry;
* A high level of numeracy and articulacy with strong analytical and PC skills – especially Excel, Access and VBA;
* Thorough working knowledge of Bloomberg is essential;
* Excellent communication skills;
* Attention to detail and adaptability;
* The ability to work as part of a team as well as the ability to work on own initiative.

Communication and Interior Design has the tasks of creating, establishing and ensuring an optimal visual level, and thereby contributing to reaching set commercial goals for the IKEA store.
As a Co-Worker within the Com&In Department your responsibility is to secure a high level of visual presentation of the IKEA product range and thereby strengthen IKEA as the home furnishing specialist and in order to reach the set commercial goals within a set area of the store.
Key Tasks
Actively develop range presentation:
* Work with the Interior Design/Visual Merchandising Manager to effectively present the product range, in a way that is consistent with the IKEA concept, business priorities and according to budget targets.
* Support co-workers from other functions with the planning and implementation of Com&In related projects in the Showroom/Markethall, the Entrance, IKEA Restaurant, staff areas and other sales support areas.
* Visualise and communicate the IKEA product range and business priorities in a way that is functional, inspiring, and commercial and supports mechanical sales.
* Suggest range presentation solutions within own department in order to ensure growth in turnover, inspire visitors and satisfy their home furnishing needs.
* Support the Interior Design/Visual Merchandising Manager in maintaining range presentation standards in their area of responsibility and ensure that all measures are taken to guarantee the safety of co-workers and customers.
* Support with the effective planning and programming of allocated Com&In resources.
Co-Operation/Relationships
* Support and develop co-operation with fellow co-workers specifically within your own function, Sales and Logistics teams, through working closely together, sharing knowledge and showing understanding of each others responsibilities in order to present the range in the most commercially profitable way; reflecting our range priorities, low price profile and unique offer.
* Utilise the Concept Description, Documentation and manuals together with the relevant tools to develop the business and yourself.
* Through your own example contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
* Remain flexible and proactively look for opportunities to help in other areas your function and where appropriate the larger store environment.
Key Knowledge
A strong understanding/knowledge of the following:
* Home furnishing, visual merchandising, interior design, shop planning and communication.
* Different store media and range presentation techniques.
* The product range.
* The IKEA concept description including our Vision and Business Idea, our Cultures and Values, the Diamond and how we create our business advantages.
* The “Range Presentation Process” (Work Brief).
* Our customers’ shopping behaviour.
* Layouts in Practice’ .
* Auto CAD – preferable.
* Good time management and Oraganisational Skills.
* Good Communication and presentation skills.
* Have a passion for home furnishing and interior design as well as a curiosity and interest about our customers’ life at home.
* University degree or diploma in; Interior Design/visuall merchandising or any design related qualification preferred
