Job Vacancy – for a  Butcher Celbridge
Full-time  Location  Tesco Celbridge, Co. Kildare
To deliver first class customer service to customers at all times in such a way that customers become more satisfied on each visit to the Meat Counter.Key Responsibilities:

· Deliver First class customer service including recipe and cooking instructions when required and have extensive knowledge of the weekly promotions.
· You are responsible for ensuring that the full range of goods is available to customers at all times.
· Ensure that the Counter is presented to the highest standard at all times with all products clearly identified and labelled.
· As part of your role you are expected to deliver the sales and waste budget for your department including stock rotation, monitoring short code products and accurately recording waste.
· Preparation of Fresh Meat in accordance with training, i.e. filleting, boning and rolling etc.
· Preparation of excellent Meat displays.
· You should comply with all Company, Health and Safety, cleaning and consumer law policies and procedures at all times including HACCP.
· Knowledge of the legal requirements for Meat including all relevant legislation.

Additional Requirements

· Have successfully completed a butchery apprenticeship.
· Candidates should have knife cutting skills, carcass segmentation skills, filleting skills, boning and rolling skills and the ability to yield breakdown in line with Company specifications.
· Good presentation and merchandising skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· All candidates should have an extensive knowledge of Meat products and be able to provide excellent customer service, including recipe and cooking instructions when required.
