Care Work in Nenagh
Care Workers Required : Permanent (30 & 20 hours per week positions) – Tipperary Location: Nenagh
Rehabcare is developing a new residential services for adults in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. This service will share in the care of adults who require a residential service in an environment which values and respects each person, supports the maintenance of the family unit, adopts a positive behavioural support approach to supporting people with behaviours that challenge, and facilitates community-based living, personal development and social inclusion.
Reporting to the Residential Services Manager through the Team leader, the successful candidate for this position will have responsibility for the provision of both a personal care and a support service to clients. The person appointed will also facilitate the overall provision of a client-focused service where independent living and community integration are key elements. A rotational shift system will operate within the unit and sleep-over responsibilities and night duty will apply.
It is essential that candidates have previous experience of working with people with an intellectual disability. A Social Care qualification is desirable.
Salary: €26,641-€36,249 pro-rata ( 10 Point Scale) + Shift Premiums
