Job Specification for Risk Management Unit

Role: Senior Risk Analyst

The NTMA seeks to recruit a senior risk analyst, ideally a quants person with an appropriate Masters degree and at least 2 years experience in complex valuations and econometric modelling, to work with a small, focussed team on the following areas of debt management and asset management:

* Valuation of complex/illiquid products;

* Performance measurement and attribution;

* Risk monitoring and analysis – Value at Risk, Cost at Risk;

* Economic analysis;

* Financial/economic modelling and forecasting;

* Scenario/stress testing;

* Quantitative analysis;

* Data/statistical processing;

* Ad hoc analytical/research support to the Risk Unit, other NTMA business units and external agencies.

Analyst required to have:

* Experience in valuing complex and/or illiquid products and an understanding of accounting implications;

* Experience in measuring and managing counterparty credit risk;

* A good honours postgraduate degree in the areas of Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Treasury or Business;

* At least two year’s relevant experience in the financial services industry;

* A high level of numeracy and articulacy with strong analytical and PC skills – especially Excel, Access and VBA;

* Thorough working knowledge of Bloomberg is essential;

* Excellent communication skills;

* Attention to detail and adaptability;

* The ability to work as part of a team as well as the ability to work on own initiative.

About the Role

Working within the Accounts Receivable function ( which is part of the Finance function) this role will be responsible for the Cash Application process within the supported region of EMEA, Canada and Asia/Pacific. This position will report directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager, EMEA/APAC/Canada.

Primary Responsibilities

* Accounts Receivable customer payment reconciliation to AR and General Ledger, to include identification and processing of payments for posting and application from 3rd party customers

* Investigation and research on unidentified payments.

* Dealing with all payment methods including cheque/credit card and wire payments for the various McAfee business area entities.

* Ensuring that all customer records are up to date to accurately reflect their account status.

* Monthly reporting of cash application activities as outlined in the companies month end process.

* Working with the AR team on process improvements etc.

* Ensuring your process complies with all mandatory Audit/SOX controls

Experience

* You should have experience working in a similar Order to Cash environment, ideally within an international shared service centre

* SAP or similar Entreprise Finance Application

* MS Office

• Managing and putting in place the Group’s on-going fundraising and financial facilities requirements.

Shareholder Relations

• Managing shareholder relations and communications, including overall management of the Company Secretarial function.

Commercial Negotiation

• Driving and owning relevant commercial negotiations with major suppliers, joint venture partners and other relevant parties.
• Assessing and reviewing significant capital expenditure, particularly in consideration of reducing cost of good/services sold.

Personnel

• Assume responsibility for the general management and development of all staff reporting to you.  This includes communicating Weedle’s culture, developing career progression plans and other personnel related issues.
• Recruitment of all financial support staff in line with growth requirements of the business.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have strong drive and energy, the hunger and ambition to succeed, the flexibility to deal with growth and change and a practical and down to earth approach.

Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills and financial and commercial acumen will be essential.
