Assistant Customer Service Manager

The Role

As an Assistant Customer Service Manager, you’ll take ownership for delivering the highest standards of service in store – taking responsibility for the central sales floor, garden centre areas and the replenishment team. You’ll be promoting fantastic levels of customer service, driving efficient store replenishment procedures, and continuously developing the team through your fantastic coaching and mentoring skills. You will be focused on creating an outstanding shopping experience for our customers through the engagement of the team.

The Person

To succeed in this role you will need to have a minimum 1 years experience of managing large teams in a fast moving retail environment. You’ll be a great problem solver with a logical mind, and a proven ability to implement process and procedure. An ability to work methodically and cope well when working under pressure is a must with a firm understanding of workload planning and organisational skills.

You’ll be highly proactive, with a focus on identifying opportunities to improve service levels, and possess the excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with our customers on a daily basis. You’ll be an inspirational leader, developing your teams to their full potential and enabling them to deliver outstanding results.

Portlaoise – 13 hour contract

Carlow – 13 hour contract

Dublin Naas Road – 12 hour contract

Limerick – 13 hour contract

Nutgrove – 18 hour contract

Waterford – 14 hour contract

Longford – 13 hour contract

The Role

As a Colleague Services Team Leader you will deliver strong support and service to store colleagues. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that colleague engagement is maintained and enhanced through accurate co-ordination and administration of key colleague related activities. You’ll be supporting with recruitment and induction, monitoring training progress and delivery, and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety compliance across the store. You’ll also be required to manage payroll administration and undertake Duty Management activities as required.

The Person

To succeed in this role you will need to have proven experience at a supervisory level, ideally in a retail environment. You will possess knowledge of people processes and issues, in particular colleague administration and payroll activities. You will be an excellent communicator who is passionate about people, their development and meeting company expectations. You’ll also be a great problem solver with a logical mind, and a proven ability to implement robust processes and procedures.
