Helpline Officer
The Helpline Officer must anticipate and meet the needs of our external clients worldwide, including Expatriates, Brokers and Medical Providers as well as coordinating interdepartmental work, consistently delivering a high quality service and committing to continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Commit to the department’s service standards, including a 24 hours turnaround for all written communication and a target call abandon rate of 2%
* Develop extensive and sound product knowledge in order to provide timely and accurate information to our clients
* Assist our in-house medical team in coordinating client’s hospital admissions, evacuations, repatriations and other cases as required
* Multi-tasking of daily assigned workload as well as ad hoc assignments and follow up on individual cases
Responsible for providing outstanding customer service to clients and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
Experience Required
* Experience in a customer focused role , in a an administrative capacity
* Previous experience in call centre environment would be beneficial
* Experience working in pressurized environment with tight deadlines
* Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word)
Essential Requirements
* Applicants must be flexible to work within our rotating shift patterns
* Valid EU work permit with the ability to work full time year round
* Fluency in English

Starting Salary €25,000 per annum rising to €36,000 reflective of length of service.
Once employed by Allianz Worldwide Care; we feel that the contribution of our officers increases considerably with service and we think it is only fair to recognise this within our salary scales. Therefore, we commence salary increases for Officers following 18 months service with increases continuing to apply for up to 5 years service as follows: 18 months service €2,000, 2.5 years service €3,000, 3.5 years service €3,000, 5 years service €3000.

AA Insurance is Ireland’s largest personalised Insurance intermediary and our Dublin based call centre is a vibrant, energetic and rewarding working environment. We are currently recruiting entry-level positions for this call centre. These positions are temporary and will run for at least the next 6 months, but may run up to a maximum of 12 months. Full training will be provided by means of our extensive, in-house training and development programme. These positions will involve a 36.25 hour week, but hours of work and start time will be flexible to meet business needs and may also include weekend work. They will also involve dealing with inbound calls mainly – but there will be an element of sales work involved aswell.

Purpose of Role
The purpose of the role is to champion the service quality ethic within the Store, ensuring a ‘ can do, will do’ approach to customers and their needs. To contribute to the delivery of the Store business activities and goals. To be a flexible team member by providing support for both S& I and the LA.
Accountabilities
To contribute to the achievement of Store targets for interest and non-interest income generation, by identifying selling opportunities and referring customers to the appropriate advisor (BDM, FC, S& I and LA)
Proactively sell credit cards to achieve or exceed branch target
Provide an excellent service to all customers, providing welcome, assistance, solution and follow-up (in person and over the phone)
Carry out the administration associated with account transactions, including the management of ‘ teller’ systems
Ensure that all diaries are managed effectively to promote an efficient customer flow and best service to the customers
Ensuring that all calls are answered promptly and fielded appropriately
Ensure that the environment is consistent with brand values. e.g. brochure racks stocked, office appearance and general tidiness
Assist the LA & S& IA with prospecting sales including processing of applications in accordance with prescribed systems and standards ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with their colleagues in Manufacturing to ensure effective fulfillment of products, quality customer service and speedy resolution of processing issues
Deputise for LA, S& IA during absences – vacation or sick leave.
Maintain excellent product knowledge and complete relevant financial qualifications as appropriate

The Individual
5 Leaving Certificate passes at Grades A, B or C including English and Mathematics
Minimum 2 years previous experience in Retail environment (preferred)
Can-do, will-do attitude with a relentless focus on customer
Prior experience in team based environment
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Flexibility and a willingness to learn and take ownership of personal performance and development
Basic computer literacy and keyboard skills
Excellent knowledge of First Active Processes and systems
