Tuesday, March 9th, 2010Amazon’s Customer Service (CS) department is seeking an European Business Analyst to join the team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the European Workflow/CS Capacity Planning team which is responsible for forecasting and Operational head-count planning of CS contacts, internally at EU CS centres and at Co-Sourcer support sites. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment and a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service.
# wner and driver of CS key metrics forecasting and reporting (contacts per unit forecasting and concessions reporting and improvements).
# Produce regular reports and analysis. Write systems queries to gather financial data, and perform data-mining and analysis using tools including MS Excel, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos and MySQL to identify trends and develop forecasts, as well as identify opportunities for cost savings and quality improvements.
# Responsible for completing dive deeps and complex analysis to understand variances to planned metrics.
# Evaluate and implement opportunities for improving forecast accuracy and automation of the forecasting process.
# Contribute to the development of Workflow CS Capacity Planning and analysis tools and files to create an EU wide integrated approach.
# Responsible for working to support the transition of Workflow CS Capacity planning metrics to a MySQL database model.
Required :Technical Expertise- in-depth knowledge of planning and analysis tools; solution driven approach to system and process; advanced computer literacy. (MS Excel, MS Access/other Database, proficiency in SQL and MySQL database set-up).
