Some information about working at Marks and Spencers
M&S say that their Customer Assistants ” make them who they are.“
“Because it’s their job to give every single customer that unique M&S experience – and every reason to keep coming back. So, whether you’re helping find the perfect product or making sure it’s in stock and displayed beautifully, you’ll be putting a smile on our customers’ faces.“
A customer assistant role will involve helping find the right products for customers, managing stock, getting new lines out on the shop floor, supervising the fitting rooms, and providing service at the tills.
M&S look for people with the ability to keep customers happy. Which means having the confidence and approachability to deal with all kinds of people.
You will also need to show a flair for tailoring the perfect service for each customer at busy times – which will need a cool head and lots of enthusiasm.
M&S Staff get a 20% discount and flexible shift patterns to suit you.
Applicants should be prepared to work evenings, weekends as well as bank holidays over the Christmas and New Year period.
