The role: Web Analyst - Google Analytics - EU Headquarters

Google is seeking a passionate, team-oriented, and self-motivated individual with excellent communication, technical, and analytical skills. You will interact with customers, analyse web-sites, traffic, on-line advertising campaigns and web-strategies to provide advice on how to improve ROI on on-line advertisement. You will also provide product support to Google Analytics internal and external customers. Responsibilities:

* Providing product support and general web-analytics insight. Implementing and integrating it with AdWords, AdSense and other on-line advertisement tools.
* Creating meaningful and specific-to-the-industry reports and analysing and presenting performance of on-line campaigns.
* Providing actionable recommendations for optimisation, creating case studies on Google Analytics usage.
* Keeping updated in relation to new product features and general on-line marketing and web-analytics industry trends.
* Developing measurement strategies for on-line advertisement, creating product documentation and delivering training sessions to various internal teams within Google’s online operations.

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or technical field of study.
* Professional experience in Internet, Intranet, or Networking Technology field.
* Professional experience with on-line advertisement and/or web-analytics.
* Good working knowledge of statistics, including segmentation and ability to evaluate large data sets.
* Ability to operate between technical and sales teams.
* Basic HTML, Javascript and Regular Expressions knowledge.

As a Data Centre Analyst you will join a 19 member team comprising of 17 Analysts and 2 Team Leads. The purpose of the position is to provide 24×7x365 support for over 3,000 servers and multiple SANs.
You will be an integral part of an extended IT operations group and will work closely with your fellow team members.
The position will also involve liaising with clients and other internal IT groups worldwide.
Here’s a summary of the work involved in this position:

· Building HP and Dell servers
· Troubleshooting alerts generated by the monitoring tools for servers and SANs
· Resolving tickets in the call tracking system within SLA
· Escalating issues that cannot be resolved per defined procedures
· Supporting the backups of over 20Tb of data residing on the SANs and servers
