Night Porter required for a new 5*hotel in Ardmore, Co. WaterfordThe five star Cliff House Hotel is situated in the picturesque village of Ardmore. Co. Waterford, we are currently recruiting for Night porter you will need to have a confident, mature manner in addition to good customer services skills.

Duties of the role

* Carry out handover procedures at start and end of shift.
* Take and input bookings on guests’ requests.
* Answer the switchboard when required to the company’s standard.
* Be fully conversant with the hotel bookout procedures and deal with bookouts when required.
* Be aware of company’s referral procedure and deal with where necessary.
* Process the night run and ensure that correct procedures are followed and reports are produced as required and distributed to relevant departments.
* Check and sign for monies and report any discrepancies to direct report.
* Ensure floats are checked and assigned to the early shift using the hotel standards.
* Check and sign log of banking as required.
* Audit posting to bedroom accounts and correct as necessary, making notes for accounts / revenue department/ (e.g.) food posted as liquor items posted as incorrect.
* Attend and support hotel and departmental training sessions as appropriate.
