Treasury Analyst
Job Summary
Assist in the analysis of the NAMA Balance Sheet including monitoring of asset and liability profile and derivative exposures. Reconciliation and valuation of positions and interaction with other NAMA units in accordance with Risk strategy and overall NAMA objectives
Key Result Areas
Balance Sheet Management
Assist the Senior Treasury Manager in monitoring the NAMA Balance Sheet and analysis of hedging scenarios.
Risk Management
As a member of the Treasury team, participate fully in indentifying risk, and ensure that the business operates within risk parameters as set down by NAMA Risk Committee and or NAMA Board.
Relationship Management
Manage and enhance relationships with key internal and external partners particularly in relation to execution of market transactions.
Principal Duties
Balance Sheet Management
· Analysis of various asset and liability strategies to manage the NAMA Balance Sheet
· Support the Treasury Team in setting the pricing of NAMA assets and liabilitie
· Prepare cash flow analysis and projections of liquidity and funding requirements
Risk Management
· Develop Treasury risk management reports to monitor and identify risks and opportunities
· Prepare valuation reports on customer and market derivatives exposures
· Liaise with NTMA Treasury team and NAMA Credit Risk and Lending Teams to ensure positions are reconciled in a timely manner
· Produce and assess management information highlighting key issues for action
Relationship Management
· Work closely with other NAMA Divisions in delivering robust risk assessment
· Work closely with NTMA Dealing Desk on NAMA requirements, trade execution
· Work closely with both internal and external partners where necessary

NAMA are recriting an Internal Auditor
Role
The role is to assist the Head of Control in the undertaking of internal audit responsibilities across all NTMA business functions.
Key Duties & responsibilities
These include;
1. To provide an independent evaluation of, and opinion on, the various products, processes, systems and controls within the organisation as assigned and detail any required remedial action where weaknesses are identified.
2. To contribute on an ongoing basis to the organisation by promoting a control conscious environment, advising on changes in procedures, systems and controls and undertaking related tasks.
3. To evaluate the audit programmes for existing businesses
4. To develop audit programmes for any new business or processes.
5. To complete assigned Audit reviews as per the Internal Audit Plan in an effective, efficient and timely manner.
6. To liaise with the external auditor (Comptroller & Auditor General)
There are currently 5 distinct businesses within the remit of the NTMA.
1. National Debt
2. National Pensions Reserve Fund
3. State Claims Agency
4. National Development Finance Agency
5. National Asset Management Agency
Audit committees (consisting of non executive Directors and other external members) have been established to oversee the internal controls and other operational issues relevant to these businesses and the Head of Control and his team are required to review and report on matters as determined by these Committees.
Reporting Line
The appointee will be a member of a five person team and along with the existing team members will report to the Head of Control who reports directly to the Chief Executive and, as indicated above, to the Audit Committees.
Person Specification
The job holder is likely to be a qualified accountant with experience of auditing, ideally in complex financial organisations.
Skills and Competences
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, self-starter, highly motivated and capable of working on own initiative. He/She will have good communication (written and oral) skills and strong interpersonal skills. Ideally, he/she will have some exposure to either banking, funds, corporate finance or claims/insurance business.

Job Description:
To ensure that the Credit Risk, Management and Administrative functions with the Collections Department are actioned in accordance with agreed procedures.
Reporting To:
Senior Manager – Collections Department
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining good loan portfolio quality and minimising credit losses whilst recognising the rights and interest of the customer
Ensure appropriate staffing structures are maintained and are capable of being adapted to meet internal and external challenges affecting the department.
Identifying and implementing process changes, training requirements and efficiency measures.
Close supervision, guidance and motivation of Collections Teams
Ensure maximum effectiveness and quality of service from external suppliers including Panel Solicitors
Assessing cases to ensure that adequate Loan Impairment provisioning occurs on a quarterly basis.
Provide quality, timely and accurate Management Information in relation to the Collections Portfolio
Resourcing and Staff Development
Have a highly motivated , well trained, customer focused staff.
Maximise the capabilities of the Collection team through
the provision of coaching, training and ongoing mentoring and feedback to individual team members.
Ensure all team members are kept informed of business levels, activities and development through regular team briefings, e-mail communication and memoranda.
Ensure the team is appropriately trained in the Banks processes and policies.
Manage the resourcing levels within the department through the monitoring of performance and productivity levels
Ensure where performance issues exist they are addressed in a timely and efficient manner with the objective of resolving issues in a fair and transparent way.
