Eircom Apprenticeships
Eircom are offering apprentices the chance to develop practical skills in a market leading company that is at the cutting edge of technological innovation in Ireland.
You will gain first-hand experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment in our network to provide the highest levels of service to our customers.
The Eircom structured two year programme will provide on the job learning, 1-to-1 coaching and formal classroom training. Each successful apprentice will be buddied with an eircom mentor to help guide and advise you. This mentor will be an expert in their area and you will work together to learn what it takes to make it in eircom. You will benefit from practical experience in the field, under the supervision and guidance of some of the most experienced professionals in the country. You will gain first-hand experience in the maintenance and repair of equipment in our network to provide the highest levels of service to our customers.
Successful applicants will receive a Level 6 FETAC Telecommunications Access Networks Technology Major Award.
Qualification & Skills Requirements:
Leaving Certificate – must have passed a minimum of 6 subjects (must include a pass in maths)
Flexibility – you will be required to move to different locations around the country
Enthusiastic and committed
Eager and willing to learn new skills
Strong communication skills
Passionate about technology
Strong problem solving skills
Team player
Please note: To be eligible for this programme you must have a full driving licence on or before May 2015.
