1. Overall Objective/Purpose of the job

A Customer Sales Representatives (CSR) is primarily responsible for achieving sales targets,
this entails

• converting calls to sales by accurately capturing customer information and by
• Using effective sales techniques
• Achieving service levels and abandonment levels within the call centre.

This is a rewarding role for successful individuals and a key part of the overall successful
performance of the company.

The CSR role would ideally suit someone with energy, enthusiasm, ambition and the commitment
to delivering a first class customer sales experience in a team environment.

Training is vital to our continued success and we will provide you with excellent opportunities
for training to build on your skills. We have an excellent customer service record and pride urselves in the quality of our service. We deal with inbound calls and outbound campaigns and ffectively use our current database to achieve sales.
2. Deliverables and Key Activities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets
• Capture accurate customer information and correctly enter on to database.
• Cross Sell other products.
• Maintain service levels and abandonment rates.
• Deal with inbound sales calls and outbound sales calls.
• Deliver consistent call quality to all prospective customers
• Follow through on all necessary procedures and administration
• Adhere strictly to underwriting criteria and refer to underwriters where necessary.
• Support other areas, campaigns and products when required.
• Support newer team members with product and system knowledge.
3. Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Required level and content of education :
• Leaving Certificate
• Third Level education
• Competitive, enthusiastic, excellent communication skills and good telephone manner
• Ability to work to individual & team targets
• PC Skills

Business experience required :
• Some experience in a telesales role would be an advantage, but is not essential as
full training is provided
