M&S Managers are accountable for:-
All Store Operating Plan targets;
All Store targets for operational processes;
Operational, Visual and Customer Service Standards in their store;
A motivated, committed, high performing Store Management team;
Performance Management for all direct reports;
All mandatory & specialised training ensuring Customer proposition is met consistently;
A succession plan fulfilled for Section Management within their store;
Input into the Regional roadmap to reflect local opportunities;
Brand integrity and market awareness;
Effective communication through the Regional Manager with focus on product and Store catalogue;
Perfect implementation of all corporate Store processes and policies;
A Store team who are engaged to implement Business priorities and embrace change;
Compliance and Store Assurance within your Store.

– be able to work every other weekend with both early starts and late nights;
– be able to travel at least one and quarter hours from home to your store location;
– have had relevant senior management experience in retail (i.e. as a minimum, a manager of a high street chain, or a deputy manager of a large blue chip department store);
– have been accountable for a sales turnover of over £3 million or above;
– have managed junior managers;
– have managed budgets;
– have made decisions regarding store layout
– have made decisions regarding service standards
