Aldi’s continued success means that they are opening more and more Aldi stores across the country. This Autumn they will be opening new shops in Swords and Skibbereen . (Lets hope they have plenty of steak and spuds for the medal winning rowers !)
For each one of these stores Aldi will be looking for special individuals who share in the Aldi philosophy – hard work and great rewards. And remember, they begin recruiting for new stores prior to the opening date.
You may have heard certain rumours about working at Aldi. Things like; you have to memorise all the prices in the store, you have to sort out and pay your own tax at the end of the year, or you have to work 7 days a week! All of these are absolute nonsense.
Of course working at Aldi is hard work but it is also hugely rewarding. The hours are flexible, the work is challenging but fun, you will have a supportive team with you, undergo high levels of training and be rewarded with a generous salary.
Aldi say they are constantly looking for new recruits across the country, so feel free to apply for any location.
Laura thoroughly enjoyed the Aldi Graduate Area Manager Programme, and recommends other graduates to apply for the scheme: “Being an Area Manager is really enjoyable and the diversity of the role is one of the best parts. You’ll work with a variety of different people and personalities, and be expected to use your own initiative while demonstrating leadership. It’s all about adapting and being able to relate to different people so you can achieve high levels of success.”
Aldi recruit several graduates who become fully trained to Area Management level within a year, running tores and managing staff people. The Aldi Graduate Area Manager Programme also offers competitive rewards and excellent career progression.
