Duties & Responsibilities:
Over all responsibility for efficient running of the office
Maintain high office housekeeping standards
To take responsibility for the accuracy and security of all cash handling procedures and effectively administer the credit control procedures.
Maintain an efficient filing system
Ensure the terminals balance with actual receipts at the end of each day. Investigate any cash overs or unders and report findings.
Putting money into the ATM machine.
Responsible for Lotto procedure.
Wages - Calculating the hours and sending them to Head Office.
To ensure that customers receive prompt, efficient, professional attention both face to face and on the telephone.
Compliance with company policies, procedures and best practice to ensure a high level of productivity in line with company targets.

Security

To ensure security of all cash handling / office procedures.
To maintain general security of the office environment

The Person

The Office clerk should be familiar with all aspects of office policies and procedures and be computer literate and numerate.
To control health and safety standards, ensuring safe practices and good housekeeping according to company policy as well as legal requirements.
Must be computer literate - Microsoft Office essential
Excellent interpersonal skills
Fluent English both written and oral
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure

The Role

The role: Search Quality Intern - EU Headquarters

Job Purpose
As part of Concern’s fundraising analysis team, to contribute to increasing net income raised through providing analytical support to fundraisers, and better understanding of supporters
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Analysis:

1. Lead on the production of marketing analysis of the Concern supporter base
2. Work with fundraising managers to identify key areas of research;
3. Provide recommendations to fundraising managers based on insights gained from analysis of supporter behaviour;
4. Write clear reports for fundraising managers to summarise analysis findings, including recommendations to improve contact strategies.

Management of strategic reporting:

1. Work with fundraising managers to identify and develop key performance indicators to monitor performance against strategic plans;
2. Working with users, manage the design and set-up of standard reports from the ThankQ supporter database;
3. Design and update donor life time value reports on an annual basis and subsequent analysis of data, including the identification of trends;
4. Become a key point of contact on the Concern supporter database for direct marketing/analysis agencies;
5. Manage the maintenance of analysis library to maximise benefits of learning.

Design and manage segmentation and data modeling

1. Working with fundraising managers and the fundraising systems team, to be responsible for the creation, application and review of data models to target supporter groups for appeals.
2. Design tools to extract these donors, enhance targeting, and manage projects with supplier where models are built externally.
3. Monitor and review definitions of key segments to enable optimum return on expenditure.
4. Act as statistical adviser for any tests undertaken
5. Working with fundraising managers and the fundraising systems team, to be responsible for the creation, application and review of data models to target supporter groups for appeals.

Management of Information Systems

1. Maintain knowledge base - including the creation of appropriate links between tables to facilitate reporting, and user-friendly field names;
2. Liaise with key ThankQ users to assess needs and establish generic form of report for users to set their required parameters;
3. Work with fundraising managers to develop life time value reporting tools.
4. Train non-technical users in practical use and potential of package;
5. Manage the maintenance of central documentation - changes to system, standard reports, etc.
6. Work with other departments, such as Finance, to enable access to information held in those databases for fundraising reports.

Project Work

1. Undertake project work as may be required from time to time.

Person Specification
Essential
* Minimum 2 years experience in database marketing
* Requires extensive previous technical knowledge and experience in analysis techniques. Must be able to generate complex statistical information for strategy review and interpret results appropriately.
* High level database skills including extensive experience in the construction of complex reports in an SQL environment
* Strong communication skills are essential
* Excellent organisational, analytical and planning skills
* Qualifications in computing or statistics are desirable
* An ability to multi-task
* Ability to work on own initiative
* Ideally have a good understanding of, and commitment to, data analysis for a charity.
